Multiple Disney Films?
[edit]What Disney movie (aside from "Atlantis") has created songs for? DCTJoy.Com (talk) 03:11, 25 January 2008 (UTC)Dctjoy
That is the only Disney movie they composed a song for specifically. However, they composed many tunes for Disney which are used in television shows, and attractions at the Tokyo Disney Resort. They were also one of the main acts at Disney's 100 years of magic celebration. The article was really poorly written before, and was quickly re-written to meet standards. It is being updated again. 220.253.37.80 (talk) 04:42, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Regarding Romaji removals (and re-adds)
[edit]The romaji (romanization of Japanese titles) needs to remain so that fans of multiple languages can actually read the title of the singles. (Signed Dctjoy - January 24, 2008)
If you want romanization of Japanese titles, then take the time to enter it correctly, in a non-English help field. Moreover, do not wiki-link them, since there are no articles for them, and are not significant to have an article. 220.253.37.80 (talk) 02:32, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Band name
[edit]Is their name really written in all caps? RickK | Talk 03:53, 24 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Well, according to [1], no. RickK | Talk 03:55, 24 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Sonic
[edit]Dreams Come True made the music for Sonic The Hedgehog and even helped design the main character.
Is there a source for this info? Nakamura is the only member of the band credited for the music for Sonic 1 and 2 (although he did arrange a Dreams Come True song for the ending to Sonic 2) and the character was created by Yuji Naka. I've never heard of any band members involved in Sonic's creation.
No, Dreams Come True were not involved in the creation of Sonic at all. They simply composed the music for the game. At the time Dreams Come True were seen as a great up and coming band so Sega approached them and asked them to compose the music for the game. I believe they also composed the music for the Sonic squeal, Sonic 2.
The article appears correct in regards to this. ;)

Sleepless in Seattle
[edit]It says: "the band recorded "Winter Song" for the opening theme of the film Sleepless in Seattle". The opening song of the Western version of Sleepless in Seattle is definitely not by Dreams Come True. Dreams Come True are not mentioned in the credits, at all. Yes they wrote a song called "Winter Song", it might even have been intended for the film, but it was never used in the Western version, could this have been for a special Japanese opening? This needs to be clarified.--Terry Patterson (talk) 15:19, 4 July 2018 (UTC)
- I have answered my own question. It was in the Japanese soundtrack.--Terry Patterson (talk) 15:33, 4 July 2018 (UTC)
